BS DD ENV ISO 8502-1 – Preparation of steel substrates before application of paints and related products. Tests for the assessment of surface cleanliness. Field test for soluble iron corrosion products

Field test on surfaces abrasively blast-cleaned to Sa 2½ or better. The test uses indicator strips that are sensitive to ferrous irons. It is not applicable to manually cleaned steel surfaces.
