BS 4290 – Method for specifying electroplated coatings of silver and silver alloys for decorative and protective purposes

Electrodeposited coatings on metallic and non-metallic materials for general and protective purposes. Excludes coatings containing less than 95% pure silver by mass or of minimum thickness less than 2 æm, and those on screw threads or unfabricated sheet or strip.
