AS 2532 – Current and voltage transformers for measurement and protection – Measurement of partial discharges

Specifies routine tests for the measurement of partial discharges in CTs and VTs having rated voltages above 6.6 kV (with solid insulation) and 33 kV (with liquid-immersed insulation). Specifies also permissible discharge levels in terms of the apparent charge. Agrees with IEC 44-4 (which however covers only above 66 kV for liquid-immersed insulation) but acknowledges possible higher values for bushings as permitted by AS 1265.
