AS 2849 – Density of water – Numerical value

Specifies two methods for the determination of the numerical value of the density of water under specified conditions, viz. by reference to a table and by calculation. The value of the density of standard mean ocean water under specified conditions is included in an appendix. The values are those proclaimed in a determination by the National Standards Commission – Recognised-value Standard of Measurement of Density – Water, dated 21 March 1985, in accordance with the National Measurement Act 1960.
