BS 3522 – Specification for hypodermic surgical mounted needles (Luer fitting)

Stainless steel hypodermic needles 26 gauge (0.018 in, 0. 45 mm) to 17 gauge (0.056 in, 1.40 mm), with Luer conical socket (6 per cent taper); method of size designation. Regular points with a bevel of 12 degrees, short points with a bevel of 18 degrees, intradermal points with a bevel of 30 degrees.
