Description

BS 6320 – Specification for modems for connection to public switched telephone networks and speech band private circuits run by certain public telecommunications operators

Specifies requirements for modems and associated call-setup equipment for connection at a NTP to a speechband private circuit or a public switched telephone network. Applies to both self contained modems and equipment incorporated in terminal equipment (integral modems) including use of single or double dial-up operation.
